things that make you go..... HUH?

so, jen , a few minutes ago asked me my opinion regarding the future of the music industry with relation to the fate of... dare i mention it... disco. not needing much thought, this is how it goes:

i don't believe much will change. essentially, the human race, when it comes to their entertainment, will remain for decades as opinionated, and superficial. thus causing such things as:

false presumptions, profiling, war, one sided voting systems, and the religious right.

yes, music, as far as i'm concerned, will forever continue to provide all cultures, religions, sexes, races, critics, midgets and people of every taste, certain sounds and styles, when played in your prescence, make you think you're The Man.

country could die though....... as soon as we get a democrat in the white house.

just something to think about.

ironic, isn't it, that i post this statement within a week of attending a country concert at blossom music center. if you don't like it, you lose. becuse, along with many others, i commit to the idea of making my path against the proverbial grain; denying the superficial, and appreciating the role of diverstity in our future.
