off the clock... on the record...

the average time it takes me to compose and publish a post for this blog is, on the average, 10 minutes. signifigantly lower than the time it would take one person to read through my entire archive in an attempt to find each time i make mention of any specific subject. especially considering that i have been posting here for well over a year.

THE GESTAPO:

Ge·sta·po ( P ) Pronunciation Key (g-stäp, -shtä-)
n.
1. The German internal security police as organized under the Nazi regime, known for its terrorist methods directed against those suspected of treason or questionable loyalty.

thankfully, the gestapo is no longer a major force inthe undermining of the rights of the public...

however something that does still exist:

THE FIRST AMENDMENT TO THE CONSTITUTION OF THE UNITED STATES OF AMERICA:

Congress shall make no law respecting an establishment of religion, or prohibiting the free exercise thereof; or abridging the freedom of speech, or of the press; or the right of the people peaceably to assemble, and to petition the Government for a redress of grievances.

in order for the concerned to feel a bit more secure, i have unwillingly deleted the vast majority of posts having statements about work, pay at work, and the company. some of these had included much time and effort placed on other subject in my life and have not been ousted. and though i am now limited to certain time constraints, i will continue to comment as i see fit with regard to my life and the world around me in conjunction with new policies restricting my accessability to this site. i am aware that one of my readers used time (refer to my first statement in this post) at their place of employment which i will not name, to review this blog's entire archive in an attempt to undermine and/or incriminate... i will not continue, as this concern has been expounded upon by a thrid party member. i am however, quite determined to seek and discover specific information leading up to the incident in question... You Lose.

apocalypse, what?

an excerpt from today's leading headline on msnbc.com

"So close is the correlation between recent events and the biblical prophecy of the Second Coming, by the reckoning of RaptureReady.com, its "Rapture Index" has been hovering around 160 — the highest levels since just after the 9/11 terrorist attacks. According to the Web site, "the higher the number, the faster we're moving towards the ... rapture." When the number is above 145, it advises: "Fasten your seatbelts!"

they truly can't be serious... can they?

an ineptitude unmeasurable by rational means...

Congress cuts Viagra aid
WASHINGTON — The Senate on Wednesday passed without debate and sent to the president legislation that ends Medicare and Medicaid payments for erectile dysfunction drugs, such as Viagra, as part of a package that extends medical help for the poor and provides unemployment benefit aid to states hit by Katrina.

this was a news brief i saw on usa today's website this morning. i didn't even need to read the entire article. what really gets me about the whole thing is that medicare and medicaid were providing coverage for men with erectile dysfunction in the first place. i can see why such a condition would be important to the government as the majority of our governing body is over the age of 65, and the rest of them are too busy pumping fear into the hearts of americans everywhere to have any sort of sex drive whatsoever. what gets under my skin is the fact that i had no idea until now that my taxes have been going right into the loins of the elderly poor to enhance their sex drive.

now, i love sex just as much, if not more than everyone else; and i have no problem if granny wants pops to throw her a bone once in a while. but is it really that resonable to the suits on the hill that making sure gramps can blow his load that medicare would cover the service and prescription, but won't cover certain patients needing to go to the hospital for possibly serious problems. don't get me wrong, if i couldn't get it up i would surely consider it a serious, nay, life threatening condition, but to expect the rest of the taxpayers to provide me with sufficient girth for my and jen's enjoyment? preposterous.

i think medicare and medicaid need to get their priorities in order, and get real help to those who need it. ie: the working poor. which is why i am pleased that along with various "building funds" i mentioned in a prior post, the extra spending will be going to those who need more than an eight hour hard-on...

what they need to do is provide 24-HOUR fluffer service to out of work strippers and porn stars...that would deplete the deficit.

recent death and destruction; wrath of god or natures fury?

nothing better to do at 7am at work on a friday, so i spent my morning with a coffee and the news. one of the reports was an interview with a right-wing religious republican (is there any other kind?). apparently, he is a televangelist with some church in middle (white)-america, which has had recent trouble with replenishing the "building fund" considering they have donated most of it to the relief efforts. the belief is the recent calamity spreading worldwide, from chicken-flu and hurricanes to the death and destruction in the middle east is a sign preceding the second comming of JC. it is reports like this one which are causing a vast outpouring of support and money to many parishes and missions throughout the world. my opinion? as i mentioned once before, i am a believer in reincarnation, mixed with a little darwinism and just a touch of agnostics. so, as you can imagine, i look past all the right wing bullshit, and take a scientific approach. i will not explain as you can google for it. i think all this "fire-and brimstone" is simply a scapegoat for the right-wing "followers of an angry god" because they have no good reason to explain these events. not so much the natural disasters; these are due to optimal atmospheric conditions, but more for the middle-eastern death and destruction. W too dumb to blame? i know! let's blame god. give me a break.

i want to state that i do not intent to use this site for the scheduled bashing of religious groups or politial parties. i wouldn't keep this string of negativity going however, if they'd wise up and stop giving me reasons to rant. believe in whatever god or leader you wish, just take into effect the scientifically proven facts behind the weather. as for the social misunderstanding, and political oversight, blame whomever you like... just know where you stand and stick to your principals; as distorted as they may be.
